Personal Data Processing Rules
1. General Provisions
1.1. These personal data processing rules (hereinafter referred to as the Rules) regulate the website https://www.ltaqua.lt/ (hereinafter referred to as the Website) by buyers and visitors who have entered their correct personal data in the questionnaire on the Website (hereinafter referred to as Registered Visitors).
1.2. These Rules have been prepared in accordance with the Law on Legal Protection of Personal Data of the Republic of Lithuania and other legal acts regulating the collection, processing, and storage of personal data.
1.3. Based on these Rules, the personal data controller is UAB “LT Aqua” Company code: 302583519 VAT code: LT100006086718 Bank code: 70440 Account No. LT62 7044 0600 0773 4732, address: Ukmergės g. 298A, Vilnius, Republic of Lithuania (hereinafter referred to as the Data Controller). The Data Controller is responsible for the collection, processing, and storage of personal data in accordance with the procedure established by law.
2. Collection, processing, and storage of personal data
2.1. The Data Controller confirms that personal data is collected for direct marketing and marketing purposes and is processed in accordance with the principles of fairness, lawfulness, accuracy, and respect for the individual’s right to privacy.
2.2. The data controller collects and automatically uses the personal data of registered visitors, which they provide when registering on the website, only in accordance with the procedure and for the direct marketing purposes set out in these Rules.
2.3. When registering in the online store, the Buyer must provide complete and accurate personal data. By registering, the Registered Visitor agrees that the data they have provided will be processed for the specified purposes of data collection and use. If the Registered Visitor does not agree, as specified in clause 3.1 of these Rules, the Data Controller shall not have the right to use this person’s data (except for the storage of personal data).
2.4. The Data Controller respects the right to privacy of each Registered Visitor. The Buyer’s personal data (name, surname, address, telephone number, e-mail address, and other information provided in the e-shop registration form) is collected and processed for the following purposes:
2.4.1. process the Buyer’s orders for goods;
2.4.2. issue financial documents;
2.4.3. resolve issues related to the presentation or delivery of goods;
2.4.4. for direct marketing purposes;
2.4.5. to fulfill other contractual obligations.
2.5. The data controller may use data not directly related to the Registered Visitor, i.e., data about purchased goods, for statistical purposes. Such statistical data will be collected and processed in such a way as to prevent the disclosure of the identity of the Registered Visitor or other personal data that could be used to identify the person.
2.6 All information about the personal data being processed is confidential. The data controller
undertakes not to transfer personal data to any third parties, except in cases and in accordance with the procedure established by the laws of the Republic of Lithuania.
2.7. The personal data of registered visitors shall be stored for no longer than is necessary for the purposes of data processing. Upon expiry of the data storage period, the personal data of registered visitors shall be destroyed in accordance with the procedure established by applicable law.
2.8. The personal data of registered visitors shall be processed using secure organizational and technical measures to protect personal data from accidental or unlawful destruction, alteration, disclosure, use, and any other unlawful processing.
3. Rights of registered visitors
3.1. By registering on the website, registered visitors confirm their consent to the processing and use of their personal data in accordance with these Rules. A registered visitor who does not want their personal data to be processed and used for the specified purposes has the right to express their disagreement with the processing of their personal data by informing the Data Controller by email: info@ltaqua.lt.
3.2. Upon receipt of the notification referred to in point 3.1 of the Rules, the Data Controller shall immediately and free of charge terminate the processing of personal data and inform the Registered Visitor thereof in accordance with the procedure set out in point 5.1 of the Rules.
3.3. The Registered Visitor shall have the right to change and/or update the information provided in the registration form.
3.4. The Registered Visitor shall have the right to familiarize themselves with the actions taken in relation to the processing of their personal data.
3.5. A registered visitor has the right to request the correction, destruction, or suspension of the processing of their personal data (except for storage) if, after reviewing their personal data or its use, they determine that their data is incorrect, incomplete or inaccurate, by contacting the Data Controller in accordance with the procedure set out in clause 5.1 of these Rules.
4. Amendments to the Rules
4.1. The Data Controller has the right to amend these Rules in whole or in part by announcing this on the Website.
4.2. Additions or amendments to the Rules shall take effect from the date of their publication on the Website.
4.3. If a Registered Visitor does not agree with the amendments or additions to the Rules, they have the right to express their disagreement with the amended or supplemented Rules and the purposes related to the processing of their personal data by expressing their disagreement in accordance with the procedure set out in clause 5.1 of these Rules. If the Registered Visitor’s disagreement is not received, it shall be deemed that the Registered Visitor agrees with the new version of the Rules.
5. Final provisions
5.1. All notifications related to the processing of personal data shall be submitted to the Data Controller
by e-mail (info@ltaqua.lt) or by post (to the address UAB “LT Aqua” Company code: 302583519 VAT code: LT100006086718 Bank code: 70440 A.s. LT62 7044 0600 0773 4732, Ukmergės g. 298A, Vilnius).
5.2. The Data Controller shall provide a response in the same form in which the notification was received from the Registered Visitor, no later than within 20 working days from the date of receipt of the person’s request.
